About the Role

Colate is looking for a senior leader with program and delivery management. This requirement is for the insurance collboration.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

12–18+ years of experience, with at least 5–7 years in program management roles.

Strong experience in the Insurance domain (Life/P&C/Reinsurance).

Technical Skills

Proven experience with Azure Data Platform technologies:

Azure Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS, Databricks

Power BI or similar BI tools

Understanding of:

Data Warehousing & Data Lake architectures

ETL/ELT frameworks

Data governance & data quality tools

Familiarity with cloud migration and modernization initiatives

Domain Expertise (Insurance)

Deep understanding of:

Policy lifecycle (Quote → Bind → Issue → Renew → Claims)

Underwriting, Claims, and Actuarial processes

Regulatory frameworks and compliance in Insurance

Experience working with Insurance data models and systems

Preferred Skills

Certification in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Data Engineer Associate).

Experience in large-scale digital/data transformation programs.

Knowledge of AI/ML, Advanced Analytics, or Data Science use cases in Insurance.

Experience working in global delivery models and client-facing roles.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Management

Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data programs within the Insurance domain (Life, P&C, Reinsurance).

Manage multi-stream programs including data engineering, data governance, analytics, and reporting.

Define program roadmap, milestones, and ensure delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.

Establish robust governance frameworks, risk management, and reporting cadence for stakeholders.

Drive Agile/Hybrid delivery models and ensure alignment with business priorities.

Stakeholder & Client Management

Engage with business stakeholders, including Underwriting, Claims, Policy Administration, Actuarial, and Finance teams.

Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and architecture.

Provide executive-level updates and maintain strong client relationships.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across technology, data, and business units.

Data Strategy & Architecture

Define and implement enterprise data strategy, governance, and data quality frameworks.

Drive modernization initiatives such as data lake, data warehouse, and cloud migration programs.

Ensure alignment to regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17, GDPR where applicable).

Promote data democratization, self-service analytics, and advanced analytics adoption.

Technology Leadership (Azure Focus)

Lead programs leveraging Microsoft Azure Data Platform, including:

Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Azure Synapse Analytics

Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)

Azure Databricks

Power BI

Work closely with architects to design scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

Ensure adherence to cloud best practices, security, and cost optimization strategies.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams (data engineers, architects, analysts).

Drive resource planning, talent development, and performance management.

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
